Joshua 3 & 4
Using the Bible lesson from our VBS, "When life is good, God is good" we see that stones are used as signs to remember God's goodness and blessings, particularly at watershed moments in our lives. These signs help us in 3 ways: to see the moment as holy (set apart), to give us a perspective of gratitude, and to build anticipation for more of God's blessings. Weddings, funerals, dedications, graduations, baptism, and communion are signs to point us to God's goodness. Even more so, we are living stones; every Christ-follower is a sign/witness of God's goodness to those around us.
